Job Description 

We are seeking enthusiastic Full Stack Developer (Angular, Java Spring) candidates to join our development team. This is an excellent opportunity for developers who are passionate about commercial product development. You will work under the guidance of experienced professionals, contributing to the design and development of responsive, high-performance web applications using Angular and Java. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Partner with digital product managers, and deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences in the insurance and benefits technology sector. 

• Develop, test, and maintain web applications using Angular (Version 15 or above). 

• Collaborate with senior developers and team members to build robust, scalable solutions. 

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices. 

• Participate in troubleshooting and debugging of applications to optimize performance. 

Skills & Basic Qualifications 

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in full-stack development 

• • Solid understanding of Angular and its core concepts, or comparable expertise with similar frameworks 

• • Solid understanding of Java and the Spring Boot framework, or comparable expertise with similar frameworks 

• • Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, JSON. 

• • Proven expertise with RESTful API development and integration 

• Knowledge of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, UI/UX principles and front-end development best practices. 

• Demonstrated experience in developing solutions with relational databases, particularly SQL-type databases, e.g. Postgres, including stored procedures, table design, querying, and optimization. 

• 2+ years of experience in Agile practices including working experience with: 

• • Jira 

• • git (Gitlab) 

• Demonstrated experience with test-driven development (TDD) along with good feature management using branching techniques 

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. 

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills. 

• Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges in a fast-paced environment. 

• At least 4 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience does not apply) 

• At least 1 year experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• 5+ years of experience with Java 

• 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service 

• 2+ years of experience Node.js, gradle, maven, docker, elasticsearch 

• 2+ years of experience in Agile practices 

• Working knowledge of RxJS 

Education 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). 

• Certification or course completion in Angular is a plus but not mandatory.
